Tension bands attach the tension bar to a terminal post. There is usually one less tension band required than the height of the fence. For example, a six foot fence would require 5 tension bands for every tension bar. Tension bands are also used to make gates, dog kennel panels and temporary construction panels. Each tension band requires one 5/16" x 1 1 /4" bolt and nut. All of our tension bands are galvanized for long life.
